Artist's Description
After Hurricane Irene, what the children of the Catskills saw was devistation, loss and sorrow... but the waters have receeded and these children see friends and neighbors giving shelter, bringing food, clothing and tools... so now what the children see is hope and love as we put the pieces back together.
this piece is being donated to an auction that is raising money for restoration... any sales of prints will also be donated.

CONGRATULATIONS on your FIRST PLACE win in the Folk Art Contest hosted by the group, Our World Gallery. This contest was juried and one of 150 artworks submitted for the contest, all of which were prize-winning entries.
