Description
This piece depicts the sudden realization of truth. At one point in my life everything I was taught to believe, thought I believed and wanted to believe came crashing down around me. The result was a new open perspective and ability to search for my own truths unimpeded.

Very well expressed self portrait. I guess 'realizztion of truth' happens to most of us at some pt of life. At least we can live a life with better awareness from then onwards.

Oh, dear, I was so enthralled by the painting that and your DISCUSSION comment that I had not looked at the title when I wrote before! How well it is integrated into the painting and your discussion of that it means for you. And I'll ask the same question I did before: will you (I'll understand if you don't want to) share with viewers your order of invention of the trio? Graphic, title and discussion. Peace, etc., again, and as I think I said before, I'll be watching you!

How appripriate for the title! Will you share which came first? That is, did you start out to paint what the painting became, or did it rather more take over and happen that way! I really admire the choices and arrangements of color, and how it took me a moment after first being cought by, and marvelling at, the colors as abstract design, before I realized the face and head shape! Wonderful job! I'll have to watch you from now on!
